K-pop Listening Lesson

K-pop (abbreviation of Korean popular music or Korean pop; (케이팝) is a music genre originating in South Korea, characterized by a wide variety of audio-visual elements. Although it includes all genres of “popular music” within South Korea, the term is often used in a narrower sense to describe a modern form of South Korean pop music (kpop) drawing inspiration from a range of styles and genres from around the world!

How to:

  • Find your classes Google Form
  • Watch the five numbered videos below and score them based on three different criteria: singing, dancing, and fashion.
  • Once you’ve watched and scored every video, you’ll need to order them from best to worst in each category.
  • Finally, we’ll compare your scores to your classmates and see which groups we picked as the class’ top choice!
